He was extremely thin as a young guy and self-conscious of his skinny body. This led to him the gym. He had plans to attend college and the gym was supposed to be only his hobby until things didn't work well and he had to drop the dreams of college.
In need of something to do with his energy, he found bodybuilding. At age 18 he started training seriously.
He decided to compete in the RIBBF's first timer's category in October 2011. He was fourth.
Later, in April next year, he entered the junior category in another RIBBF competition and won.
In 2014 he was 1st in Junior Bodybuilding at Arnold Classic Europe.
After two years of hard work, he won Diamond Cup twice in a row getting IFBB Pro card. In September 2017 Blessing won heavyweight & overall Arnold Classic Europe trophy.
